Providing a Support Service for the Construction Operative at all levels.
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance (Construction)
The Total Qualification Time is around 12 weeks to achieve this qualification whilst undertaking your normal everyday work tasks, also with the aid of the easy to use online Portfolio, Spending assessment time in your workplace on site, and without having to take time off work sitting in a Classroom.
The Assessor who gets assigned to this qualification will help and guide you through the Assessment process from start to finish,
Who will also work with you to follow the Assessment Plans and answer any questions you may have with regards to what workplace evidence to collect, Progress reports are always available to show how well you are doing in working within your timescales and qualification times,
All units shown below are required for a CSCS Gold Card.
To achieve this Full qualification all mandatory units plus two optional units must be achieved,

Unit 1: Confirming work activities and resources for an occupational work area in the workplace (Mandatory Unit)

Unit 2: Developing and maintaining good occupational working relationships in the workplace (Mandatory unit)

Unit 3: Confirming the occupational method of work in the workplace(Mandatory Unit)

Unit 4: Operating plant or machinery for non-operational activities in the workplace (Mandatory Unit)

Unit 5: Diagnosing faults in plant or machinery systems or components in the workplace (Mandatory Unit)

Unit 6: Determining and completing service to maintain plant or machinery in the workplace (Mandatory Unit)

Unit 7: Determining and advising on the viability of repair or replacement for returning plant or machinery to service in the workplace (Mandatory Unit)

Unit 8: Inspecting plant or machinery for operational serviceability in the workplace (Optional Unit)

Unit 9: Handing over plant or machinery to the control of others in the workplace (Optional Unit)

Unit 10: Providing technical information, advice and guidance to users of plant or machinery in the workplace (Optional Unit)

Unit 11: Installing, repairing or modifying construction resources by heating, welding, brazing, soldering and thermal cutting in the workplace (Optional Unit)

Unit 12: Producing one-off components to restore or maintain the operational functions or plant or machinery in the workplace (Optional Unit)

Unit 13: Installing plant or machinery for operational activities in the workplace (Optional Unit)

Unit 14: Carrying out specific tests on plant or machinery to determine operational serviceability in the workplace (Optional Unit)

Unit 15: Configuring plant or machinery for specific operational activities in the workplace (Optional Unit)

Costs breakdown are as follows : There will be 3 payments spread over the Assessment stages as shown below:

Stage 1.

Registration fee for this Qualifications is £120.00 No VAT

e-portfolio set up and starter pack with the user name and qualification: £36.00 including VAT

Assessment plan and Induction to the Assessment for user to proceed with the Qualification: £195.66 inc VAT

Total set up and Assessment Induction cost & Deposit: £351.67 payable in advance by an invoice paid by Bank Transfer.which is the quickest method.

Stage 2

Prior to marking the Job Knowledge Questions an invoice will be raised for £351.67 including VAT which must be paid and cleared before the answers are marked and scored

Stage 3

Prior to completion of the Assessment as directed by your Assessor a final invoice will be raised for £351.66

Following full payment of the invoice the Assessment will be completed and forwarded to the Verification team for Certification approval, upon completion and sign off you will receive:

Full NVQ Certificate of achievement with completed units and CSCS Card.

Total all in cost VAT inclusive, Full NVQ Certificate: £1,055.00

This Qualification is available to start with immediate effect.
