The new NPORS Construction Site Safety Manager (CSSM) course is the equivalent to the CITB Site Manager Training Scheme (SMSTS) Therefore it means that the CITB grant is available to companies who are levy payers to CITB,  All our NPORS CSSM courses can be delivered on customers premises, or at one of our training locations, all must be covid-19 compliant.

Storyboard progression to Site Managers CSCS card by the CCM Route of entry.

This card is available for Site Manager and technical occupations subject to the Achievement of items 1, 2 or 3 & not item 4 only:

  • (1) Achievement of a relevant Construction Management/Technical related NVQ/SVQ level 5, 6 or 7 achieved by the evidence supplied accordingly
  • (2) An SVQ Level 4 in Construction Management/Technical related qualification or
  • (3) Holding a pre-existing NVQ level 4 in construction management.
  • (4) Evidence of Site Manager Training endorsed by the HSE: The NPORS CSSM (Construction Site Manager) 5 Day Training certificate or card
  • (5) On Site work evidence for the relevant level NVQ Level 5, 6 or 7
