Plant Manager Safety Training Scheme
Available in any location Nationwide or at our Training Centre in Stoke on
Trent.
The Saturday courses listed are available to allow Trainers
& Testers to continue to work during the weekdays.
This course is designed for Plant Managers, Plant Trainers, Plant Inspectors, Workshop
Managers, Project
Managers, Agents and persons who are,
or who are about to be, responsible for
planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering staff, groups of staff and workforce.
The course covers all the relevant legislation and
other aspects which affect safe working in
the construction plant industry, civil engineering industry and
building industry. It highlights the need
for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to
sustain a health and safety culture among
the workforce.

Aims and objectives of the five-day course

To help Plant Managers, Plant Operator
Trainers, Agents and Supervisors to:

Manage
Health and Safety on site, Training areas and Workshop
areas in accordance with legal provisions,
and within the context of their Management
or Supervisory roles

Develop an understanding
of responsibilities and accountability for site health, safety and welfare,
-
Recognise that safe
sites, training areas and workshops are efficient, economical and productive.
Dates are available all through 2010, weekends or
one day each week over 5 weeks
