The Learning and Skills
Council with government backing and in collaboration with
organisations such as Business Link and Investors in People
has created Train to Gain to promote awareness for the need
to train the UKs workforce to a higher level.
Through Train to Gain you
can access full funding for your staff to achieve NVQ
qualifications at Levels 2 and/or 3 and you can
apply for funding to
meet the particular needs of your business and
employees.
The criteria learners need
to meet to be able to take advantage of this funding are as
follows:

Aged 19 or above

To have been a resident of the UK for more
than 3 years and if a non EU national be able to supply
proof of right to residency and to work

To have less than 5 GCSE's of grade C or
above, or an existing Level 2 qualification
