Abrasive Wheels
An abrasive wheel is usually defined as a wheel consisting of abrasive particles bonded together using organic or inorganic substances such as resin, our training course outlines the requirements of -Regulation 9 of PUWER, which requires all persons using, supervising and managing work equipment to receive adequate training for the purposes of health and safety. HSG17 suggests the components that should be included in a training programme and recommends that a record of training be kept.
Following a successful demonstration of correct fitting of wheels and discs delegates will be awarded with a Standard competency certificate . A short session of 4 hours including a classroom presentation of legislation etc is designed to instruct a maximum of 6 - 8 delegates.
