Whilst ensuring
the load is secure

out of service and secure conditions:

Following safe loading and unloading procedures
with regard to types of vehicles:

Upon completion of
the required guided learning hours the
Candidate will be issued with
a Training
Certificate which will allow them
to proceed towards the CPCS Theory & Practical standard
technical test.

For the experienced
Operator
Who will be familiar with
the full operation of a
Telescopic Handler and will be able to
proceed direct to the CPCS Theory & Practical test providing
the CSCS Health & Safety test is current (Taken within the last 2 years).

CPCS Standard Technical Test
Theory test - Is
an oral
questioning session with time allowed
of up to 1hr to answer questions
on the Telescopic Forklift, candidates
must pass this test before any practical test
can be undertaken.

Practical test - A
specific practical test for Telescopic Handler
to be undertaken in the time
allowed of 2hrs, upon completion of
both parts of the technical test
a CPCS 'Trained
Operator' card, or if an NVQ has already
been achieved, a Competent Operator card be applied for.
