Introduction:
Training and Testing being our main core activity within the Construction and Allied Trades,
awarding certification via various awarding bodies,
as well as our own in house standard certification.
Training Activities include: Health & Safety
Awareness,
Vehicle Marshalling,
Lifting Operation Appointed Person, Working at height,
Safe use of Ladders, Telescopic Fork Lift Truck and Plant Operator Training,
plus
with a follow up Level 2 qualification NVQ Assessments for Earthmoving,
Lifting equipment, Logistics, Level 3 and higher levels with Supervisor,
and Manager, to attain the appropriate CSCS cards.
Getting everyone
Trained and Qualified is essential to comply with legislation and to
allow progress to gain work experience,
therefore each company should consider the
cost effective advantages of getting their workforce properly trained,
qualified and certificated.
Construction Plant Competence Scheme:
With
Plant and Equipment Training being made available to all age groups,
together with the
CCM
CPCS testing facility, everyone should be looking towards
the future, improving their skills and
gaining experience, We give as much
information as we are able to, keeping within the requirements of a
test centre will assist the Plant
Operator in passing both the Theory & Practical Technical tests,
the main requirement before undertaking any part of the test is to
ensure that the Health & Safety Test has been passed with the previous
two years.

CCM can offer NVQ
level 2 Assessments and partly funded higher
qualifications under Train To Gain,
which will assist those with CPCS Trained Operator Cards to complete the
upgrade to 5 year competence

The National Plant Operator Registration Scheme:
Is a good alternative to a CPCS Card, which is a cost effective way to
provide operatives with a proof of competence, by way of card and
certificate, which is also approved by the HSE and other bodies.
